RICH in Community

A counterculture cycling organization building health, wellness, freedom of movement, and people power.

Who We Are

We create opportunities through cycling.

At Rich City Rides, we create opportunities through cycling. Our counterculture organization is based in Richmond, California, and is dedicated to bringing people together through bicycles as vehicles for health, wellness, and freedom of movement.

We engage and activate community members through our TCC Youth Fellowship Project, E-Bike Lending Library, Earn-a-Bike Program, Bike Repair Workshops, and Self-Care Sunday social rides.

We encourage residents to use bicycles for everyday transportation and to experience the health, economic, and social benefits of an active lifestyle.

We are working to make Richmond a bike-friendly community that is open and accessible to everyone. We do this through community engagement, bicycle advocacy, social rides, and skill-building.

What We Believe

Bicycles help us move toward a more just Richmond.

Transit Justice

Safe, affordable, sustainable transportation should belong to everyone.

Youth Leadership

Young people build practical skills, lead their peers, and shape the future of Richmond.
