Protect Two Community Homes
Help secure the spaces where mobility, wellness, youth leadership, and community power can grow in Richmond.
One urgent goal: protect both properties.
Rich City Rides is raising $725,000 by December 31, 2026 to protect two future community homes: 1434 Macdonald Avenue, the future West County Micromobility Hub, and 1525 Ohio Avenue, the future Black Wellness Hub.
These properties are more than buildings. They are the foundation for reliable green transportation, bike access and repair, health and healing, youth opportunity, creativity, connection, and community ownership.
Two Future Community Homes
West County Micromobility Hub
At 1434 Macdonald Avenue, Richmond residents will be able to access affordable bikes and e-bikes, bike repair, safety education, public charging, and community-led mobility opportunities.
Black Wellness Hub
At 1525 Ohio Avenue, a Black-led community space will support health, healing, creativity, family connection, and economic opportunity.
How your donation is used
Donations are made to Urban Tilth, Rich City Rides’ fiscal sponsor, and are restricted for the Rich City Rides project. Gifts through the main campaign and connected capital-project pages are combined and first applied to the shared property obligation protecting both locations.
After the shared obligation is satisfied, additional gifts designated for the Mobility Hub or Black Wellness Hub will support that project’s buildout and programming.
