From Bike Rodeos for our elementary students to Bike, Walk & Hike Clubs for our High Schoolers – RICH CITY School Programs provide authentic learning experiences that can last a lifetime. Our programs give the youngest students the freedom that comes with learning how to ride your first bike through certified-instructor lead workshops. Our high school clubs bring students together both on-and-off campus in order to bring a social-emotional atmosphere outdoors while promoting an overall healthy lifestyle and community. By choosing to collaborate with families, school faculty members and our community partners, we identify student needs on campus then navigate towards relevant, sustainable solutions for everyone. As the leaders of our future days, we want to enhance the lives of our students with the love of being outdoors in their own communities. As we are guiding them towards these future leadership roles, we strive to plant seeds of activism and entrepreneurship in soil that is truly of a RICH CITY. Through these RICH CITY School Programs our students lead our communities into a future where their sustainable ideas become tangible work. Using quantitative as well as qualitative data to measure our impact, our programs reach for continuous improvement. With this data, we can take a deeper dive into the fruits of our labor and better understand where our program can grow. Currently, our programming consists of schools in the WCCUSD with hopes of spreading into neighboring districts in the coming school years.
